Si le bord d\u2019attaque perd soudainement de la pression, une rapide action sur les arri\u00e8res peut le maintenir ouvert, cela vous donne un peu plus d&#8217;informations que de simplement travailler avec vos pieds sur le barreau d&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur. Si l&#8217;air est calme, vous pouvez bien s\u00fbr simplement rel\u00e2cher la tension sur les arri\u00e8res pour permettre \u00e0 l\u2019aile de voler normalement.<br \/>Piloter aux arri\u00e8res vous donne le maximum d&#8217;informations et le maximum de contr\u00f4le avec le minimum d\u2019action, ajoute-t-il. &#8220;Cela cr\u00e9e \u00e9galement moins de tra\u00een\u00e9e que les freins et c\u2019est plus efficace que de rel\u00e2cher compl\u00e8tement le barreau puis d&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer \u00e0 nouveau.&#8221; C&#8217;est utile dans les turbulences de \u00ab niveau interm\u00e9diaire \u00bb. &#8220;Si l&#8217;air commence \u00e0 devenir vraiment agit\u00e9, alors bien s\u00fbr, je l\u00e2che l&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur et j&#8217;utilise les freins normalement.<br \/>&#8220;La technique est particuli\u00e8rement utile pour les ailes perfs en comp\u00e9tition lorsque l&#8217;objectif principal est d&#8217;optimiser l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9, mais elle est \u00e9galement applicable en cross et en vol loisir sur des ailes standards. Je l&#8217;utilise tout le temps.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Regarder son aile<\/strong><br \/>Russell admet &#8220;Regarder son aile en secret&#8221;. \u00ab Je regarde beaucoup mon aile, surtout si je vole \u00e0 grande vitesse car ma priorit\u00e9 c\u2019est de maintenir le bord d\u2019attaque ouvert. \u00bb pr\u00e9cise-t-il. &#8220;J&#8217;utilise donc une combinaison qui englobe la pression que l&#8217;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rateur exerce sur mon pied, le contr\u00f4le visuel de mon bord d&#8217;attaque et les sensations exerc\u00e9es par les arri\u00e8res. De cette fa\u00e7on, j&#8217;ai le maximum d&#8217;informations qu&#8217;il est possible de rassembler.&#8221;<br \/>Si vous sentez et voyez que le bord d&#8217;attaque commence \u00e0 s&#8217;effondrer, vous pouvez agir en m\u00eame temps sur le barreau en le rel\u00e2chant (l\u00e9g\u00e8rement, pas compl\u00e8tement) et tirer sur les arri\u00e8res (autant que n\u00e9cessaire) pour maintenir l&#8217;aile en pression, explique Russell. &#8220;L&#8217;action n&#8217;est pas comme une action aux freins, c&#8217;est une action plus r\u00e9duite et plus rapide &#8211; Il y a un risque de d\u00e9crochage si vous avez la main trop lourde.
